Puppy #10 – (Tangerine)
Meet our tenth-born puppy. We identify him with a tangerine collar and call him “Tigris,” which is Latin for a tiger. So why Latin and not a Gaelic name? He was named by one of his loving family who takes Latin and his coloring reminded them of a tiger. The second reason is legend says that English Shepherds are British Isles dogs bred with stock dogs brought over by Julius Caesar when he invaded in 55 B.C.
